These illustrations explain the stages and approvals behind a custom order. They are not photographs or footage of our factory. The exact production route depends on your product and agreed specification.

Stage 01 / 06

The brief comes first.

A useful production conversation begins with the player, the product and the intended market. Share your target quantities, delivery country, size range and a realistic launch window. A reference image helps explain direction; a written specification makes the details traceable.

What you approve

A versioned brief with your product purpose, artwork references, sizes and destination.

Questions worth asking

  • Who will use the product, and on which surface?
  • Which details are essential, and where would you like advice?
Build a better brief

Stage 02 / 06

Know what goes into it.

For goalkeeper gloves, separate the palm specification from the backhand, cut and wrist system. Material names alone do not describe the whole glove. Agree the proposed construction and sample it before treating a digital mockup as a finished specification.

What you approve

The proposed materials, construction, measurements and size breakdown.

Questions worth asking

  • Which palm and backhand materials are proposed for this model?
  • What substitutions, if any, require written approval?
Understand cuts and fit

Stage 03 / 06

Make the identity workable.

Your artwork needs to work on a moving, stitched product. Review logo placement, line thickness, colours and the proposed decoration method. Silicone printing, sublimation, moulded elements and embossing involve different decisions; confirm which method belongs on each panel.

What you approve

Artwork version, panel placement, physical colour reference and any tooling charges.

Questions worth asking

  • Is the detail printed, moulded or embossed?
  • Which sizes need separate tooling, and what is the one-time cost?
Compare backhand methods

Stage 04 / 06

Put the sample to work.

A sample connects the design to the wearer. Check fit, finger movement, cuff closure, seams and branding, then test it in the intended conditions. Keep a written revision list and photographs. If a construction detail changes, agree whether a revised sample is needed.

What you approve

One clearly identified sample and a recorded list of accepted changes.

Questions worth asking

  • Does the fit match the intended keeper and size chart?
  • Have all open points been resolved before production approval?
Use the sample-test guide

Stage 05 / 06

Agree what gets checked.

Before production, agree the review points and the updates you need. Ask for evidence of the finished product against the approved reference: construction, branding, sizing, quantities and packaging. The exact checks and sampling approach should be part of your order agreement.

What you approve

The production reference, inspection criteria and how any issue will be reported.

Questions worth asking

  • Which checks will be documented for this order?
  • How will a difference from the approved sample be resolved?
Keep an approval record

Stage 06 / 06

Finish with a clear handover.

The order is more than the product inside the carton. Confirm size labels, packaging, carton counts, delivery details and shipping responsibilities. Freight is quoted separately and can change. At receipt, count and inspect the goods and keep the packing documents with your order records.

What you approve

Packing breakdown, final destination, shipping quotation and dispatch documents.

Questions worth asking

  • Does the packing list match the approved quantity by size?
  • Who is responsible for each delivery cost and customs step?
Plan the first order
